Born in 1969, Ömer Mert graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department at ITU, he received an MA degree in the Engineering Management program at the same university. In 1993, he embarked upon his career in the insurance industry, working for various companies. Following that, between 2003 and 2005, he worked at Fortis Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş.; and between 2005 and 2012, at Garanti Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. as Assistant General Manager. He served as General Manager and Board Member at Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. between 2012 and 2017. Since January 2017, he has served as a Board Member and General Manager at Fibabanka. Additionally, Ömer Mert is the Chairman of the Board of Finberg Araştırma Geliştirme Danışmanlık Yatırım Hizmetleri A.Ş., Deputy Chairman of the Fiba Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., Deputy Chairman of the Fiba Sigorta A.Ş, a Member of the Board at HDI Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. , the Chairman of the Board at Alış Gidiş Elektronik Tic. A.Ş., Auditor Member of the Board of Directors of the Banks Association of Türkiye, Board Member of TÜSİAD and Head of the Economy and Finance Desk.
Born in 1971, Alsev Utku graduated from Boğaziçi University Business Administration, and received MBA at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Utku worked at PwC in 1994-1995, and then at Finansbank A.Ş., assuming various roles in the Financial Control and Reporting departments between 1995 and 2009. Later, she served as Assistant General Manager in charge of Financial Reporting and Planning. Utku was appointed Financial Affairs Director at Fiba Holding in 2009 and then Assistant General Manager in charge of Financial Control and Financial Reporting at Fibabanka in January 2011. Since January 2017, she has served as the Deputy General Manager at Fibabanka. In addition to her aforementioned roles, Alsev Utku is a Board Member at both Fiba Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. and Finberg Araştırma Geliştirme Danışmanlık Yatırım
Born in 1975, Ahu Dolu graduated from Marmara University, Economics Department. She started her banking career in 1997 in the International Relations Department at Finansbank A.Ş., and held several positions there until 2007, followed by her appointment as Director in charge of International Relations and Financing at Fiba Holding. Ahu Dolu is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Financial Institutions and Project Finance at Fibabanka A.Ş.
Born in 1970, Gökhan Ertürk completed his bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations at the same university after completing the Departments of Electronics and Business Administration at Boğaziçi University with a double major program. In 2003, he embarked upon his career at Turkish Airlines A.Ş. Between 1996 and 1997, he worked in the Cash Management and Electronic Banking department as an Assistant Manager at İktisat Bank and in 1997-2002, he worked as a Department Manager at Turkish Economy Bank. As of 2002, he continued to serve as the head of Akbank's SME Banking Department, and between 2006 and 2014, he served as the Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking at DenizBank. Following his position as Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking at Şekerbank in 2014-2019, he served as the General Manager at Turk Finance A.Ş. Gökhan Ertürk is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Ecosystem and Platform Banking.
Born in 1969, Turgay Hasdiker graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics in 1991. His banking career started at Yapı Kredi Bankası A.Ş., where he worked in the Corporate & Commercial Loans and Credit Allocation Departments until 2003. He served in the Corporate and Commercial Credits Allocation Department at Oyakbank A.Ş. between 2003 and 2006, and in the Commercial and SME Marketing Department at ING Bank A.Ş., until 2011. He joined Fibabanka in 2011. Turgay Hasdiker is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Credits.
Born in 1973, Kerim L. Kuriş graduated from the Business Administration Department of American University, after which he started to work at Finansbank A.Ş. as an MT (Management Trainee) in 1998. He worked in the Corporate Banking Department of Finansbank Holland N.V. (currently Credit Europe Bank N.V.) between 1999 and 2004. He returned to Finansbank A.Ş. for the period of 2005- 2008, and held various positions in the Department of Corporate and Commercial Marketing, including Branch Manager. He assumed roles in Corporate Banking for Credit Europe Bank N.V. between 2008 and 2010, joining Fibabanka in 2011. Kerim L. Kuriş is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Corporate and Commercial Banking.
Gerçek Önal was born in 1975 and graduated from the Department of Law at Ankara University. He obtained an MBA from Yeditepe University International Business Law. He started his career at a private law firm, after which he worked at T. Garanti Bankası A.Ş. as Lawyer in 2001-2008 and Garanti Ödeme Sistemleri A.Ş. as Legal Counsel in 2008-2012. He began working for Fibabanka in 2012. Gerçek Önal is currently Chief Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Fibabanka in charge of Legal Consultancy Services, Execution Proceedings Services, Claims Services, and Legal Operations Services. In addition, Gerçek Önal is a Board Member at Finberg Araştırma Geliştirme Danışmanlık Yatırım.
Born in 1975, İbrahim Toprak graduated from the Civil Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University and he received an MA degree in Business Management at the same university. In 2003, he embarked upon his career as a Dealer Assistant at Akbank A.Ş. in Fixed Yield Security department. Following that, he worked as a Dealer in Treasury Marketing Department between 2004 and 2005. As of 2005, he worked in Derivative Financial Instruments Department and between 2005-2010, he served as a manager in Derivative Financial Instruments Trading department. Following his position as a manager in Asset Liability Management & Funds Transfer Pricing department between 2011-2018, he served as a manager in Balance Sheet Management department.He joined Fibabanka A.Ş. in 2020. İbrahim Toprak is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Treasury, as well as a Board Member at Fiba Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.
Born in 1973, Serdar Yılmaz graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1995, and completed his master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same university in 1998. He completed an MBA at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2012-2014. He started his professional career in 1995 as a Software Specialist in Software Development Management at Türkiye İş Bankası. Application Architect and Project Manager between 1998-2004 at Türkiye İş Bankası, Program Manager between 2004-2008 at Softech, IT Architecture Manager between 2008-2011, IT Architecture and Business Intelligence Manager between 2011-2012 and IT Architecture and Data Management Manager between 2012-2015 at Türkiye İş Bankası and since 2015, he has served as Chief Data Officer in the Data Management Department at Türkiye İş Bankası. Yılmaz has been also a Board Member at Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik between 2015 -2020 and as of 2019, he has served as an Artificial Intelligence Area Leader at Türkiye İş Bankası. Yılmaz joined Fibabanka as of September 2020 and continues to serve as the Assistant General Manager of Information Technologies and Banking Operations.
Betül Ebru Edin graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Civil Engineering in 1993 and received her Master's degree from Işık University. In 1993, Ms. Edin started her career in Banking and continued her career at Garanti Bank in 1997 in the Corporate Banking Department until 2009 when she took the role of Executive Vice President responsible for Project and Acquisition Finance. From 2017 she took the role of leading Corporate and Investment Banking till 2022.
Betül Ebru Edin currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of BSCD Türkiye (Business Council for Sustainable Development), the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and the Board of Directors of the 30 Percent Club. Ms. Edin has been a member of the Board of Directors of Fibabanka A.Ş. since September 2023.
